Nuno ( according to reports ) is missing Portugal and his family so I'm praying that he turns down any approach .
Eddie Howe has been interviewed before and is highly thought of at boardroom level . *Sigh*
Certainly not convinced about Howe. I remember last time the early favourites all turned out to be non starters so hopefully the board is working on something a bit more exciting. Doubt it will be an Ancelotti style appointment but certainly something a bit more inspired than a relegated ex Bournemouth manager.

I might go with this

....these are next in the betting.

I just look at the hiring of Carlo as sign to the rest of the league that we were making a seismic shift from the way we had been doing things for far too long. And though it is understandable that they might be hesitant to take such a big swing again; not doing so seems like capitulation. With the prospect of a new ground in the not so distant future, I'm not sure that we can risk some of these unproven types. Landing Carlo was a coup at the time and the future looked bright. But Carlo just nailed us right in the ass and didn't even bother to kiss us first. I fear that if we get this next appointment wrong, we are right and truly fooked.
I agree. We should be looking at a big hitter with a proven record.
We'll probably have to go on another level of spending. Conte is probably the best available so I'd expect them to try.
Last year's Inter team was absurdly bloated and expensive though and Conte still wasnt happy.
