Maybe there a reason Nuno quit 2 weeks ago
Maybe its the same reason that 2 weeks ago Ancelotti's daughter was on social media bidding farewell to all her gym buddies...allegedly.

@ 2-1 not worth a tenner really

(fwiw, I wanted Bielsa before Ancelotti became avaliable)

This is all new to us but behind the scenes i wonder if they have al known about this for a while, RM must of known they would need a new manager weeks ago, for all we know they spoke to Carlo a while back, it would explain why he didn't look to interested recently, for all we know things have been moving for weeks
Villa the tipping point perhaps?

I feel quite bad for Eddie Howe to be honest.

Seems a decent fella, Everton fan, did a brilliant job at Bournemouth, like ridiculously good, and then because he couldn't quite keep a team who realistically are a League 1 side in the top flight he is now some kind of massive joke.

He is a good manager!

I don't want him like, but he has ability.

(I'm ignoring the signing of RS reserves for billions)

In some ways all Evertonians.

Sadly this is sometimes not enough (ie Unsy 2017).

Somewhat hypocritically though, I have voted for Duncan. We know one thing, he’d give his all. We’ve seen it pre-Carlo. Let’s look at the facts - 0 defeats.

I'm not sure Duncan's style is sustainable over a full 38 game season. That game against Chelsea is probably the most I've enjoyed being at Goodison in many years. The place felt alive and we played off pure emotion. But I'm not sure that will work longer term. We got knocked out of the cup (albeit on pens) and drew with a dire Arsenal side in his last 2 matches.

If he was appointed then I'll support him by all means, but I'm not sure he's ready either tactically or in terms of recruitment. None of us know what he would be like at finding new players or working in conjunction with a DOF. All we know is that he is a pretty good coach who has helped make DCL a good top flight centre forward.

I want Potter, sod it. Plays good football that creates chances. Brighton would’ve been alright if Maupay wasn’t terrible
