Maybe a few years of someone like him wouldn't be too bad; bring back some kind of identity and effort. If it were Dyche I actually wouldn't be too upset, due to the fact that I know we'd atleast get stuck in and get a team we can unite behind.
Be worth it just to see him chin Klopp, ala fanta scruff, in a DerbyIf it were Dyche I actually wouldn't be too upset, due to the fact that I know we'd atleast get stuck in and get a team we can unite behind.
I don't know where this idea that it has to be one or the other has come from, you really can do both. We're not going to be winning the league whoever comes in, just as we wouldn't have if Ancelotti had stayed. There's absolutely no reason why a manager can't get us playing decent football and finishing a couple of places higher in the league or winning a cup though. We have this weird habit of making out like everything is so much harder for us than it is for any other club in the entire world, i'm not sure why.100%
It's why I do think whoever we bring in needs a full 3 years to build a system and a foundation. So expectations and goals of getting European football and winning silverware needs putting to one side. Building a style and an identity is the goal for this club now.

Then ditch him for a shiny new mega-manager
Potter surely in with a shout.Yes. Just like Lampard, Gerrard etc. Nowhere near enough experience between the three of them let alone one on his own.
Potter surely in with a shout.
Isn't that what we've been doing for the past 4 years anyway? May aswell do it well.ye long ball hoof identity
would suit us he can play 8 defenders in the same team oh wait a minute we have already tried that formation
Can I say something about Eddie Howe, I know not a manager we all want, including myself but can we not as a fanbase give credit where it is due?
Kept Bournemouth in the Premier League for 5 seasons with one of the lowest budgets of any PL club ever. They were only relegated by a dodgy goal line technology error, the goal that never was against Sheff Utd, it should have been Villa that went down!
Of those 6 seasons 2 were 16 and 18th and the others 9th to 14th which isnt a million miles away from where we are now with a club with a stadium less than half the capacity of Goodison and a budget less than half of ours.
Sometimes we are so focused on big names that we disregard the good work someone has done, TBF he has got a relegation on his CV but that is harsh being as they were robbed by technology & VAR.
I`m not putting a case forward but saying lets be balanced in our views.....

Seems strange to not have him in the poll.ye the shout is stay away
