I think the negativity & hatred needs to stop. I totally understand why so many will feel upset/ angry etc. I’ve been one of them.

But what good will it have on the team going into new season with so much anger & hate?

All I want is my beloved club to win games and achieve something.

Im going to let the results dictate my thoughts and not judge or condemn Rafael until he gives me a reason to.

Mate I'm not saying Rafael turned him world clas through some sort of man management, because as you say the lad was talented, but he wasn't world class before or at West ham.

Sometimes players like that just need to be around better players to realise their potential ( playing next to Gerrard and Alonso couldn't have been bad for him! )

Just because he played in Brazil didn't mean he wasn't world class, it was just that not everyone realized it (including West Ham seemingly).

It's more a case of being recognized rather than being around better players. I don't think he was deemed as being a top player until at Barcelona though actually. His time at Liverpool felt very underwhelming.

He did an ok job at Newcastle, but nothing more than that. People go on like it was a miracle to do the same job that Steve Bruce has done.

Well I can’t speak for the fans, but according to a local journalist. Rafael has done a much better job. And Newcastle fans wouid have him back in heartbeat apparently.

Also Bruce has spent money. And going off stats, which is not really my bag, but what this journalist also said. Bruce’s Newcastle were in a false position. But like big Sam for us. Near the bottom of the league, for possession, chances and shots at goal

We were within 8 points of 4th, while throwing away countless easy points. All Benitez has to do is a win a few easy home games, while keeping everything else the same and we will be in the top 4. If he can't beat the likes of Burnley/Newcastle at home he shouldn't be here.

We finished 10th and we deserved to finish 10th.

We're talking about expectations not dreams. It's a subtle difference where I see some improvement and you score the winning goal to clinch the title before riding around the city on your blue unicorn showing off the trophy.
