We hired Ancelotti who nobody thought we'd get, who's since been poached by one of the biggest teams in the world.

Yet people think the likes of Conte or Sarri are out of our depth even though they'd still get paid double digit £ms a year and have £100m+ to spend in the summer.


But fine let's get back to that plucky little people's club mentality and hire Nuno or Howe or another recently relegated manager.

There's no reason why we can't hire a top manager. We pay enough, other roles except Spurs are full.

I don't actually want Conte though strangely enough, just because of the rumours why the Spurs deal for him fell through.

Even Moyes was one of the best paid managers in world football when he was here.

But it’s not. He got Wolves European football 2 seasons on the bounce. That is our target. I’d be happy with Nuno to be honest. We need to start making European football a must, and then move forward in trying to achieve CL football.

Nuno has flopped at every big club he's been to. He was a disaster at Valencia and failed with Porto. A few 7th placed finishes with Wolves who are nearly at our level shouldn't get him the Everton job. Also plays boring footy.

“Find out who the fans like and don’t sell them” which is what was initially said, is not “google and get a feel of fans towards players and shift them out”!
Can just imagine Conte googling GOT, Toffee TV etc etc to check out what the fans think before taking a decision on players - apart from the fact it would fry his brain, it ain’t happening!

Bubbles and Moyes have really turned us into the plucky little underachievers lol

I'm old enough to remember when Everton actually competed. Men like Conte, Gallardo, Rangick can instill that mentality again.

He finished 4th in his only full season at Valencia. If that's a disaster then sign me up!
