Its a massive, massive part of it!

You are talking about stuff you know nothing about here. Just for once take on board what the people who have the experience of it are telling you.
Sadly you are all talking utter bull.

You do know Graham Potter has been to Goodison twice before?

Did he break down crying after it?

Of course he didnt.

Take a look at the pictures of Koeman before he was sacked, you cant tell who can and cant "handle it".

It's not though!

We need the manager to do about a hundred things to get the club moving the right direction before we get to "what about when he gets booed?" And we're going to get weighed down by it because of some belief that the problem with past managers was that instead of all the other things that they couldn't do.

This is like the fitness thread on steroids. We just badly want it to be something simple and easily correctable.

Christ, your ignorance is unbelievable.

Like, what do you think a manager/DOF consider when signing a player from a lesser/foreign club? Pretty much top of the list is "can he handle it?".

How many times does such a signing get the "when he gets used to a bigger club/PL he will be better?"

Its the exact same thing with a manager.

But this is a bad decision making process too!

But again mate tell a packed out Goodison that.

All well and good saying it on here but the pressure is on same way it is at St James Park, Olympic Stadium & Villa Park.

Traditional big club fanbases dont just give up because they haven't won much in recent years. History counts for a lot in fans eyes rightly or wrongly as tales are passed down from dad to lad.
What would they tell you...We win the Champions League every year?!

They'd be wrong. We have a sense of status that isn't matched by our history through the 90s, 00's and 10's.

It's not the only thing, its a big part of it though.

A crowd can flip a managers fortunes in seconds rightly or wrongly. The people telling you this have experienced it.
