I said 60k.
How will you feel if we make the CL and play Barcelona at home, and you can't get a ticket mate?
60k for one game?

C'mon mate.60k for one game?
Seriously
What's the point in pretending we're something we're not?
Build what you can sell?
Some evertonians need to get real.
It appears that it would.Would it bother you if we built a 60k seater waterfront stadium mate?
It's about being realistic and not pretending your something your not.
We ain't got the fan base!!!!!!
Understand?
Westfalenstadion isn't a bigger stadium than what we are building tbh. The added capacity of German stadiums almost always comes down to them being allowed a significant amount of standing sections. When used in full seating mode it's capacity is 65k.I understand why some don't want us to have a bigger and better stadium than the likes of Spurs, the RS and Newcastle etc, but I personally wouldn't say no to a carbon copy of Borussia Dortmund's Westfalenstadion just because we might not fill it every week.
Let's think big for once.
Spurs stadium design is the best one in England I have seen to now. As I have said numerous times, if we can match that then that would be amazing.Westfalenstadion isn't a bigger stadium than what we are building tbh. Our 'kop' end is designed for rail safe standing areas in the hope they come in before the build is complete if that happened the capacity raises quite a bit. If not we have 61k seated.
Everton designing a stadium for 80k seated would be a crazy big stadium and much larger than Westfalenstadion.
Yeah as somebody who has spent a lot of time following the plans and the build I'm really happy with what we are getting and convinced that most visiting fans are going to be blown away by the experience inside the stadium.Spurs stadium design is the best one in England I have seen to now. Exciting stuff for you.Yeah as somebody who has spent a lot of time following the plans and the build I'm really happy with what we are getting and convinced that most visiting fans are going to be blown away by the experience inside the stadium.
So much of the design choices inside are clearly for fan experience and atmosphere and the kop end is going to be closer to the pitch than anybody expects in a modern stadium, I really can't wait to see the lillywhite wall.
Our kop is actually at the exact same rake as Westfalenstadion's kop end, if you overlay the plan for both of the stands they are roughly the same height and both have the exact same angle.
