New Everton Stadium

I think we should look to build a rollercoaster around the new stadium that also goes through it like the " New York New York Casino complex " in Vegas.

As hard as it will be to leave Goodison, it is needed. Think of all the restricted views and how many more seats we could fill.

So long as the names right and the design I do think it's a step forward.

I'd like a round design like Bayern Munich's ground, that looks the business.

Name wise: 1878 Stadium? The School of Science? NSNO arena?

I don't know, that's up for debate.

I'd imagine if someone is sponsoring us for it that would be in their somewhere. Like the Emirates.
Personally I'd like the stands to be named after ex players rather than the stadium. For example, Dixie Dean Stand, Ferguson End, Sharpe Stand etc...
Bret Angel lounge has a ring to it.

I agree on your points Steve, we've danced around this for years now, but I still believe the idea of using the heritage of GP can meet the requirements for attraction. It's all about desire and using the identity and USP properly, I think Goodison is our USP.

I really wish we could stay at GP..a 'new GP' with hints of the original world renowned architecture, and a PROPER Everton history museum...I have always thought that a superb, hands on, open to the public museum centering on our history would become a major Merseyside tourist attraction..I think it should be an essential part of a new stadium/complex. Everton artifacts should not be hidden away and people should not have to jump through hoops to see them. If we are marketing our history, we should market our present and our future equally well. A new stadium MUST be an instrument for progress, not a neccesary evil. We are proud of our history...so tell people about it. Its only part of what should be done ...but its one of the things that must be done a nd must be highlighted from now on at every stage of the development. We know that things 'change' or 'get lost' in drawn out discussions, but certain aspects of any move or refurbishment need to be sacrosanct.
