I think we're looking for close to another 2 years before a stadium announcement will be made.

This is just on the back of my own research in previous projects and working in the construction industry.

Even if land is purchased soon theres a whole lot of work to be done before the first brick is laid. It will be a mammoth sized SI required for the whole site.. Thats where I hope my company come in, we do most of the SI work for Everton.

It depends what else is built around there, I would imagine there would be a few restaurants and hotels.
If I was Wetherspoons I would be buying one of the massive warehouses around there.

Yeah I'm under the same understanding, the whole project is of considerable size it's going to take a long time, and I'm really disappointed that some people claiming to be ITK have been building the hopes up of many supporters the last 6 months yet still get praised and asked for more information?

My company will definitely be included when bidding for some of the major works, so fingers crossed hey, will be nice to have a site visit I'd appreciate more.

I still wonder if it will be part of a commonwealth games bid, which will certainly delay things

And also limit the stadium potential that a running track will produce. Unless a city of manchester stadium type of temporary track is produced.

might taken another 2 years to get a spade in the ground, no way is it going to be another 2 years till they announce it, i'm certain it will be in a few months. Look at the tweet above from Joe Anderson and also the fact LCC are due to announce next month they are building a train station there

Hasn't Meis already said that there will be no roof, on the stadium? I think anybody who thinks it is going to look like the Lucas oil stadium is mental.
The way he talks and gives little tweets about not being like anything else and keeping everybody happy and keeping the atmosphere of Goodison etc makes me keep picturing the car Homer designed on the Simpsons! lol
