Anything on capacity is just pure speculation IMO...I don't see how anyone would know if plans haven't even been released yet
Its more than big enough mate.Is BM big enough to hold a running track? Putting aside the logistics of converting, can they even squeeze the whole track (more than just the oval, there's the 110m straight to accommodate too).
It was easier for City as they weren't clamouring for a stadium move, so just aligned with the COM build conversion.
Personally, I would accept 1 or 2 seasons of a half-built stadium with temporary stands to allow them to use it for athletics, then convert like the Etihad. Better that than waiting til 2023/24 to move in.
Hmmm. It's a betrayal of nothing, cause it will be close to the field of play and will be intimate, it will also have flexibility. These are incredibly clever people who will be working on it, just allow yourself a little bit of faith.
Hmmm.
It'd be the first one yet that transforms successfully from a track to a stands-near-the-touchline football stadium.
Wait until there's actually a proposal and plans on the table before talking about a supposed betrayal of tradition eh Dave...
Whats our name?
No one will be able to hear the response in a new track and field adapted stadium.
Should be a rectangle...like a footy pitch!Haha! I have zero idea how to build a shed, let alone a football ground.
