Yes he has if I remember right. He also said it's not a bowl.No-one wants a track, and I don't think we'll have a track.
Hasn't Dan Meis said we'll be close to the pitch too?

Kirkby was never the only option open to EFC, it was the cheap, chosen option backed and fuelled by many people still on our board today.
Pretty sure the Millenium stadium can fit a running track and is very multi purpose with lots if different revenue generating events (concerts, football, rugby, speedway, racing, athletics etc) Atmosphere there is very good too
The speedway track is the biggest oval they can get in there and it only comes in at 285 metres if my memory serves.
Ah right, I've seen speedway there and had assumed it was similar dimensions. My bad
A decent look at what can be achieved...

The stadium was convertable all the time. Very interesting concept
Yeah it was the cheap option, of course it was, we didn't have any money! Everyone pretty much agreed a move was needed to get some cash in.
Of course they are still on the board, you dont just move board members around like playing staff.
If the Yellow King would bother to consider Dan Meis' own words about it being a bowl...he might stop talking wham.
Assuming the council do not offer to help fund the stadium so it can be used for the Commonwealth Games, should they be coming to Liverpool, what's in it for us to even contemplate such lunacy?
No way? Really?*adds to vault
No way will it be a bowl.
No, everybody did not agree.
Just because you have no money doesn't mean you jump at the cheapest option. They could have redevelpoed GP piecemeal or they could have presented a robust business plan to increase revenues and move to a venue fit for EFC. They done neither and looked at the easiest way to enhance their shareholding.
BMD has been vacant for a while. Ask yourself why now? It's because the incompetent custodians for the last 20 years are no longer calling the shots. Thankfully this means a break from the pig-headed retail enablement model and scrapping round for sites that benefit the likes of Tesco and not a football club.
There is no way any Evertonian should ever forget their plans to move us to Kirkby.
I'll guarantee it. I simply can't see how the architect can say what he's said and then lump us with a simple bowl.No way? Really?
