New Everton Stadium

Are u for real?

So Joe personally made those cuts and he personally quoted the amount required by LCC ?

Central budgets and funding cuts are the reason not Joe.... What do you expect him to do if no money is in the pot? Look at the Conservative party no one else...

I enjoy your different views but sometimes your extreme views are beyond belief

Don't bite lid, the bait he dangles looks tempting.

Oh Dear!

And whose fault is it that he has had to do that? Not his fault.. but central government taking the money away... but I guess that fact doesn't fit your anti Anderson agenda...

This thread seemingly a bit silent for your liking so lets get another Joe Anderson debate going.

When you get news you sl*g people off for being unprofessional. You're a massive hypocrite -not just this thread- and seek a rise from people.
The amount of time you spout unsubstantiated 'claims' to grid your axe on certain agendas is laughable.
To think I got baned for asking questions to @The Esk because it [supposedly] took the thread 'off topic' & was 'high maintenance' when all you ever seem to do pander a point that you know gets a rise.
Admittedly some of your posts have a degree of sense, but thats masked by your persistence; lets call it Davek slant.

You're a massive hypocrite

I don't think facts come into any of Dave's agendas

a word of advice mate: @davek is only very occasionally not being contrary for contrary's sake. Enjoy his devil's advocacy for what it is; such lends iconoclastic hue (and humour) to the forum.

Don't bite lid, the bait he dangles looks tempting.

But the point being made is: why has it all gone silent on the stadium from official sources...and the semi-official hanger on sourrces as per Anderson?

One month ago we were told this by the club:

"Clearly, it is vital we have clarity on cost and we have to recognise that the stadium will be significantly more expensive at Bramley Moore Dock. To get that certainty, and ensure the stadium is affordable, we need to confirm stadium design, capacity and configuration. And to do that, we need to talk to fans, partners and all stakeholders in the project. We’re committing to that consultation. We’re also committed to keep fans fully informed as the project develops and as other milestones are reached."

...and?

Anyone been consulted yet? Kept informed? Not to my knowledge.

I was laughing at your inability to understand Local Government finances.....again.

But i'll have a crack:
Anderson = City Council
Club = Everton

2 seperate entities, Anderson has done is part i.e. SVP, hes secured the land and the deal to move ahead. Probably nothing to do with him anymore until planning comes into it.

And seeing as we are building a stadium, what exactly are you hoping for Dave?? There was a small housing development by my ma's in Aigburth that I waited 9 months for information from.

Everyone else is calm while you tip your consipracy hat and look for the next conquest

And your point about having a pop at Anderson having to cut 500mill off the cities budget is what to do with this post? Nothing? No thought not...as usual you have an agenda against someone and you don't even use facts to back up your argument... you just spout tripe.

So what if it's gone quiet for now? As long as the right things happen I couldn't care less

You're wasting your breath, pal.

You're arguing against this:

The problem with reasonable Evertonians in this particular thread is that although he is constantly on the wind up, DaveK is not alone in thinking that he should be given updates on what the club is doing every few days. There appears to be loads of our fans that genuinely feel frustrated and 'let down' that they aren't being included in the behind the scenes discussions.

What an absolutely laughable notion to have lol. The club will be in constant dialogue with specialist organisations about a whole range of issues related to the financing, logistics, construction etc and they've lied to us all because they haven't kept the GOT message board up to date with the progress (lack of progress for Davek and co) being made.

People everybody knows what Davek is up to but you all still take the bait, Iknow it's difficult not to respond to his sometimes ridiculous posts but justsit on your hands when you see his posts, I read his posts shake my head and move on it's easy.
that's like blaming the flies around an arse for causing a stink.

I'm not expecting a full provisional report through the door and I'm not "impatient".

I'm merely highlighting what was promised "to keep our fans fully informed" and the reality = nothing. Practically speaking I thought there might be an attempt by now to ask at least focus groups what they feel about two obvious matters: shape of stadium and capacity of stadium.

We do live in a world where consultation can take place very quickly.

Shock horror dave, what if nothing significant has happened in the 3 and a bit weeks since the announcement.

You, along with everyone else in here, have no idea, literally not even close to the schematics of what's involved in such a complex business deal.

So please stop acting like you've popped into your local post office to get a mortgage.

That attitude isn't helpful or healthy for a project like this.
