It may effect sponsorship/naming rights though, but whatever someone will invest in the brand or they won't, you could sign a contract now when you are top of the table, doesn't mean you aren't getting relegated next year. I guess most companies will have clauses and reductions of payments if we are not in the highest division for maximum global exposure

I can tell you from personal experience that Chevy did not have such a clause for United not making Europe on Year 1!
