New Everton Stadium

£300m for a £150m injection classed as equity.

Brilliant work that if you can get it

hes got it . landed right on his feet with us here.

he is in charge of over a 100 million every season just landing in the bank.

he loves selling our best assets too..

we will be selling any player worth selling, if Arsenal come in with 50m for Pickford in the summer he will be gone, simple as that.

he isn't touching the stadium financially , the council are underwriting it, no risk to him whatsoever

I hope everyone else is starting to see this for what its for @davek

For him to get £300m back he needs Everton to be successful, so its in his best interest to make Everton just that otherwise he wont get a return on it.

or he could stay 3 years , if the stadium project goes tits up, take the tv money which will be around £350m... and sell our best players before selling the club.

he hasn't rocked up at everton to lose money hand over fist.

he is a financial man, first. football second.

Some good points there mate, if you could just post them a few more times on about 5 different threads you’ll have won me round.

hahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahha

come off it mate, he will be getting 300m back on that.

businessmen don't just hand over hundreds of millions.

WHY NOT! Why doesn't an Iranian Billionaire who had absolutely no affinity or connection to Everton Football Club prior to 2016 simply hand over £150m to the club without getting anything in return?

If he really cared he'd put his money where his mouth is and just give us the money for the Stadium. He's supposed to be a Billionaire. Fraud.

Kenwright has said his minimum is 55K.

All the noise coming out of Everton/various other sources is that the Capacity will be far closer to 60K. Except the Echo. They're expecting a 50K capacity, and even then it's a bit optimistic as 45K seems to be the more sensible option.

Moshiri has put £150m into the club on such good terms for us there is some debate over whether he’ll get it back at any point.

The council are pretty much liable for nothing here, the way the deal is structured it’s like putting your £50k car down as a guarantee for a £10k loan.

The squad is insured for something like £400m and we actually have paid off all the debt on our land etc, so yes no assets left at all
Nope. Not even close.

If it goes tits up ( which it very well could considering even the RS got close to bankruptcy and they are and where far better run) the council is then liable for 300+ million.

your analogy is crap, its like putting a 50K car down as a guarentor for a 10k loan, for a person who has the job title of professional bum.

When have everton shown ourselves to have the ability to pay off a half a billion pound debt?

By assets I'm talking about we have no 50+ million pound players now and talking about insurance on players, what are we gonna do? start mowing them down and getting the rewards?

it could bankrupt the club and the city and moshiri could still walk away laughing.

How is it people are DEFENDING a Billionaire who from what it looks like, wont even provide the other 1/3 of the financing? and is loading the city of liverpool and everton football club with a debt of 500+ million?

the more I think about it, the more this looks like a massive swindle.

buy a stake of a club - pump 500 Million in debt into it - build stadium - sell shares for massive amounts of profit - club cant sustain half a billion pound debt - club goes bankrupt -walks away laughing.

mate he's just took £150m out of his current account at Santander and paid off all our vibrac loans. he bought the liver building too. hes as blue as it gets him lad

On the other hand, LCC could get a nice tidy sum in interest payments for years to come.

But the risk is huge for the rewards though.

its like loaning a person 20k but the person has shown themselves to struggle paying off a phone bill in the past. would you do it?

I think the silence of other investor is deafening to be honest, and the fact we have struggled to get finance in the past as well. everton simply arent run good enough yet. certainly not good enough to pay off half a billion pounds.
