Turnover is £171.3m so its less than 3 times our turnover

£54m is ~11% of £500m
 
Anyone else feel like the club is in limbo until the stadium deal is finalised?

Feels like theirs too many chefs in the kitchen at boardroom level and too many questions regarding Moshiri's future plans, Kenwright/Woods positions and if Usmanov is waiting to come on board or not.

OT (footy) and Anfield are pure football stadia built incrementally and the Etihad's design from inception was formulated from an athletics blueprint. OT (cricket) always looks the cheap option, big space little in the way of atmosphere). BMD has the luxury of being a blank sheet of paper that can be designed to hold gigs and events much easier using better infrastructure and facilities than any of the existing stadia nearby.

Arena's can be partitioned and curtained easily these days if the will is there to do so, offering a multitude of configurations. Of course we may not be bothered in that at all in which case it's a moot point but the opportunity is certainly there.

Let us hope the architect can see the wider picture as you portray. I do feel that we get this done, the value of the club will soar and that could well incite big money offers. Albeit though Usmanov might get his act together and be the one.

Always interesting that Mosh is the majority shareholder and therefore in real terms the owner but has not a place on the board. Always thought this was strange. Is it that way to leave matters open for some one else to come in??

There is IMO an awful lot behind the scenes of which we have not got a clue.

no, it was part of the deal on the takeover. I seem to recall BK keeping his mits on the trainset until the stadium is built then he will relinquish the chairmanship to the Mosh to ensure the mosh wasn't an asset stripper.
