New Everton Stadium

Sorry, could you repeat that?
Sure, Moshiri has access to a bank called the Usmanovs Pockets Financial Institution.

I like how they come out and say "We hope they take our offer, but they are talking to others about financing and may have better options" is a sign of doom to some on here. Nothing says financing is falling through like knowing there are now multiple people interested in offering the funds and competing on terms.

Good news is that the council loan is fixed, but I don't like the thought having to pay two lenders as it's going to mean paying out 40 odd million a year which is more than what we would get back. Ideally we need to raise 100 odd million through not wasting cash over the next 4 years and then Mosh (or others behind the scenes) sub the rest.

The stadium is still on course. The club are looking at various funding models and will not necessarily go with the council option - stating the obvious, but they will go with whichever is the best option for the club. Personally, I hope they DO choose the LCC option, as it will benefit the council's finances so much.

I forgot to add the other reason that I hope the LCC deal is chosen is that it winds up the reds.

I dont blame the fans for getting excited. I blame the club for leading them up the garden path again.

Too many broken promises...one too far for many after this. They'll never be believed again. A club with no credibility where stadium intentions are concerned.
Every football fan should have dreams and excitement for their club, otherwise what's the point?

To those on here who are taking a perverse pleasure in the alleged demise of BM, don't count your chickens just yet. I think the latest information is suggesting Everton have more than one financial suitor to facilitate the loan. Don't see why this news is automatically being taken as a negative. On a broader note, surely the whole point of Moshiri coming her was the new stadium, otherwise what's in it for him? I'm still confident it will go ahead. Hope we put planning permission in before the start of next season. Planning permission can be granted without the need to show funding is in place, as I understand it.

The club themselves should be putting snippets of information out rather than leaving it to Anderson to do,we know they are kèeping the cards close to their chest,it just seems wrong that hes the mouthpiece for the scraps of news
