New Everton Stadium

There is zero evidence that the stadium will be hurt or delayed by any of the recent news. Anyone saying otherwise is doing so purely based on guesswork or wishful thinking. Come on people ffs. Stop creating fictional doomsday scenarios in your own head and then making yourself upset/angry over them!?
Losing the stadium sponsorship has to impact, surely?

You’ve just described Dave’s entire raison d’etre

Our owner is a billionaire who has so far spent £500m+ and is in the process of building us a new ground. He looks as committed to the club today as he did at the day he arrived. I fully expect the stadium construction to continue and for it to be completed broadly on time (there's always a chance of delay in construction of this size, see every Olympic stadium and major football ground built in the last twenty years.

I (and our Kopite friends) could come up with a hundred potential "reasons" for a delay but personally I don't want to spend the next eighteen months being gloomy.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, chances are it's a duck.

Taken from skyscraper city forum.

"I started working on here a few weeks ago and construction is moving at a fast pace and no worrying concerns about Usmanov.

Sadly, with the threat of being sacked, they will not let us take pictures to share online. What was funny was they know Mister Drone does his videos which they said he isn't really allowed to but told us to watch them as they are really good"

It's a "fictional doomsday scenario" that the club's main financial backer has just been sanctioned and the club has no more to do with him, leaving us up a creek without a paddle.

"Fictional".

FFS.
Are you going to provide some evidence that the stadium will be directly hurt and/or delayed by this news then? Because until you or someone else does your doomsday scenarios remain at best pure conjecture.

His always wrong.

If he was a mortgage adviser or a doctor or sommit you would do the exact opposite of what he advised.

Remember he was adamant the whole was a ruse and a stadium on the docks wasn’t going to happen and said so at every stage if this.

By the way not sure what happened to this post
