New Everton Stadium

The trees are more on the concourse.

A 'perimeter security fence' is underwhelming.

East side, south side and west side of the stadium will look fantastic. The north side will be cramped and uninspired.
Trees could become a security issue for UU if they provide a means of access to their site.

I can’t see anything other than shrubs and small trees being planted.

Them trees will last 3 years maximum being that close to the river mark my words.

Salt will kill them.
I was going to say something like this. I'm no tree expert, but I would think that the conditions there won't be ideal for most trees and there are probably only certain tree types that would survive never mind flourish.

We always knew that the North side of the site was going to be cramped and the least aesthetically pleasing aspect. Not ideal but a necessary sacrifice for the iconic nature of the rest of the development IMO.

Does anyone know the amount of seats in each stand except North Stand which I know? Cant seem to find that anywhere. Just trying to work out where my seat may be transferred too currently in MS1. Son keeps nagging me about it!

Re the boundary with UU behind the north stand:

Here's the published plan from the stadium documents: file:///C:/Downloads/8.%20BMD01-PLA-L1-00-DR-L-4002_BoundaryTreatments.pdf

As you can see, there's a tree lined section at the north-east section of the boundary but then a security fence is all that's planned between the UU access road and the stadium (line S11a).

The concern for me is that a fence is all that will be available, as the distance between the stadium wall / entrance gates behind that stand looks to be about 8 metres in width (gauging that from the scale of the football pitch on that document). That's not much room and, therefore, we'll be left with something completely underwhelming rather than a nice bit of landscaping / tree-lined avenue over on that side of the stadium perimeter.

I do hope the club have got something more up its sleeve than a rubbish fence.
Another one of those nice walls would be good, make it blend in with the dock wall on Regent's Road like.
