New Everton Stadium

As much as it would be a 5 minute walk for me to stonecross croxteth for me a stadium at the waterfront is a must not just to be on the iconic waterfront but it would be on every picture for years to come and would wind up the rs but the revenue it will bring from conferences, tours, sporting events would only benefit us. The only downside is the roads getting there would be chocker
They have to make it worth staying round afterwards then. Top boozers and eateries. Control the traffic so towards tunnels/aigburth/edge Lane/ toward M57/8 are mostly on green to ensure decent dispersal from the ground

This was the girl from Thailand who paid £500 to get tickets in the Everton end at the Leicester game, who was sitting next to me.

That camera was in my face for the whole game. The entire day was an embarrassment for a number of reasons, but it had me thinking, what is worse, Non-League or the Big Time?
Don't see the problem with This myself, sure it's annoying to be sat beside someone like this for a game, but then again she probably spent her life savings to be at that match. I'd want a few pictures myself of the occasion.

She's probably loved Leicester long time....

Peel have said they are -€œnot in a position to say anything at the moment-€ .

I would have thought we'd never get a chance to build close to the city center, and even less chance to get another shot at a waterfront location, but reading that story the above line in bold really stands out to me!

If Peel had no intention of selling or allowing dual use of the land, I'd have thought they'd have come out and said it. If the comment truely came from them it could really indicate some behind the scenes work or NDA stuff...

Until i hear otherwise, I'm running with this :coffee:

If we're making a good offer they could see it as a chance to kick start development in that area. We build a stadium = guaranteed 40-50k people in that area every two week during the season = pubs, restaurants, shops, bars etc would suddenly be in demand. Their land would be worth more and people would want to build on it.
