None of this stadium naming rights nonsense. Can we all agree that the new stadium should be the Michael Jones stadium.

Got a mate who works for LOR and they've been told they'd be back on Wednesday.

Seems very quick but just relaying the message.

Likely it will be away from the area of the accident and in all honesty the sooner it opens the better. That's not from the point of view of finishing the stadium, just that it is more likely to have been an unfortunate accident than something that could have easily been prevented. If there was a failing in H&S or missed warnings then it just makes it worse for the family.

I’ve seen the main one, and it’s rightfully been criticised by Reds, guy behind it showing zero remorse either and is getting off on being slated for it

Just utter scum! People hide behind a computer screen and their true horrible personalities come out. The worst of the internet!
I hope everton (as a minimum) save a big space on the new Everton way for a memorial stone. Such terribly sad news for all involved and shows how dangerous these professions can be even with modern equipment and safety initiatives. Never take it for granted!
