Bit of a limited perspective that isn’t it, Matty?
Why does size matter more than quality? Where does it stop? Do we need to top Wembley for capacity?
just bigger capacity mate

Yes, practically always cheaper. Often very much so. LFC got to 54k for £74m (£114m project cost). We're spending ten times that much (£750m) to get to 52k with less than one third the number of high-end box seats and roughly half the total corporate. That glaring disparity will only widen with their new stand.
"Quickness" simply depends on number of phases and how many people you put on the job. If they had done both phases at once with the bigger original contractor, they could've finished at the same time as the mainstand (which took just over 600 days)..... and of course it also depends on if or not the club or the builder goes bankcrupt/out of existence in the process. The builder going under is inconvenient, the club going under is a tad more catastrophic imo.
Reference: common sense and every stadium planning/ design guide and stadium redevelopment you care to mention.
Sit out and stare at The Wirral when things are going really badly on the pitch. What about using some of the seats from the main stand.
that is the only problem with the stadium for me really happy with the quality of it. Would have liked 60 but i cant complian with the rest, seeing pictures every time they have been posted and it just looks amazingjust bigger capacity mate
The only thing that could keep us at Goodison is the Everton Da`s and sentimentality, ending any commercial contract at Goodison 6 months early will be massively outweighed by BMD commercial deals for endless years...Of course the decision is not just based on ticket revenue, lots of commercial things to consider and seems Everton will also take fans views on mid season move. My prefernece would be to finish the season at GP, a mid season move is very disruptive for the football club IMO. A summer to move over would be ideal.
Interesting article below, few months out of date but my understanding is all the points hold true and no decisons have been made yet.

Thanks for the great drone work and the ground is looking superb. It looks like it will be a thing of beauty.
lolLove the render where people are wearing winter coats, gives the impression of a chilly evening at the footie. Then there's some random young lad in his shorts and tee shirt View attachment 231412

More hospitality, more tickets, more corporate... why have a new stadium you will spend £700m+ on to leave it empty for 6 months.
Straight off the bat you can sell x amount of thousand half season tickets.
There's not a chance that ground is open next August, absolutely none.We simply do no know. It is all gossip and speculation, I believe. Not long left regardless. Can't wait.

Regardless of his health issues he will no doubt try to hang onto the club in some capacity for the ground move.Think Kenwright's removal will be the biggest obstacle gone to moving during the season.
nobody is saying it will be ready in august next year, jan '25 ish is when we are looking at the earliestThere's not a chance that ground is open next August, absolutely none.
It will be the end of 2024, all being well and without any major hitches on the internals
