Dropped by on the way up to Wigan this morning

It's looking seriously impressive now.

Had missus d'indica in tow, last time she saw it they were just pouring sand in the dock. We turned down Boundary St and she just went 'wow...God its amazing, wasn't expecting it to be so ...huge...its fabulous...wow... wow'

When we got out the car there were a couple of lads over from North Carolina who's heads were well and truly blown.

It's huge this.

Didn't get the chance mate sadly, had to hightail it up to the DW for kick off. I love how it's becoming a hub for visiting fans though.

It's huge and impressive now it's fully erect mate.

True, but I REALLY like the view coming from town up Regent Road. If anyone hasn't seen the stadium yet I totally recommend that way for a first time viewing.

Coming down Boundary Street you can see it and the full vista of the river and then as you get closer the building starts filling up the windscreen. Down Regent Road where your view is hemmed in, it just appears and towers over everything.
