....I think ships still go up the river.
According to that the only 'very good' is standing on the pitch........
That area that you've just stuck the big blue block over on the first one, the Queen and Prince Philip officially opened that, literally last week.
Do me & Mr. Tiddles need to bring out our tin foil hats again???He clearly made that up.
Build a kin bridge for them to go over then!....I think ships still go up the river.
How does it look if the stadium was turned 90 degrees? (we could have a River end!!!)This is getting madder and madder! I just did a Google Earth on Kings dock and placed an area over it which might cover a 55k stadium ( darker blue ) and approx. Goodison area in lighter blue. Maybe they could build below the Exhibition Centre over Queens dock. It would be a terrible waste of 60 odd million quid and have to build it again. And they couldn't possibly scrap the arena, 160+ mill, it would be completely bonkers no matter how rich you are.
Finding the idea of a Plan B on the Echo Arena site to be almost farcical, look at what Chelsea are having to do, vacate Stamford Bridge for a few years, the arena and Conference Centre would have to do the same, are they really going to lose the income they generate for a few years so we can build a stadium there now and incorporate what they have done since? We wanted to do that years ago but messed it up, need to just deal with that and move on. If the idea is also to call Peels bluff im sure they won't fall for it.
Besides look at how easy it would be for objections, look at how many people live down there, even the old HMRC is now apartments, to even think about moving down there now is amateurish.
Find empty land, there is plenty of that in the north docks.
Only way it would work is if they demolished the entire arena and conference centre.
I'm slightly worried about the competency of whoever is planning this ground move if that is actually their plan B, because it's a total nightmare.
Sod it let's demolish the Liver Buildings too.
