New Everton Stadium

That’s probably a blessing in disguise. There was an article recently in a the Daily Mail about this Casement Park site. Many people were uneasy about this site being chosen because of a very tainted history.
The newspaper article said this site was where the 2 soldiers who inadvertently drove into an IRA funeral procession, and were subsequently dragged out of their car, were driven to Casement Park where they were then tortured and killed.
I’m very relieved that Casement Park will not be a venue at the Euros.

Probably far less contentious than Croke Park hosting England in the Rugby, given the major historic atrocity there.

I sent an email to the club saying it would look better with glass.

The deck above the upper concourse is a bit of a waste. Should be utilised. Even something like having escalators coming from the top of the stand as it does look like quite a distance to the exit from the back of the stand.
Let us know if you get a response mate

This afternoon, from 30 odd thousand feet...

Absolutely magnificent.

Don't really go in there anymore. Although my Nan's wake was held there last year. Had many a jar in there over the years though. Both my mum and dad's family are from Seaforth.

I haven't been to away games for years, so have no experience of most of the new stadiums. I'm just wondering though, potentially which stadiums might be better than our new one? I'm guessing really only Spurs and Arsenal? City? Never been. West Ham? You must be kidding. It looks shocking. Legacy stadiums like Anfield, St James'? Don't think so. Anyone who still travels able to give an honest opinion of which would still be considered better?
City's ground and surroundings is very impressive live and I imagine will be even better once their new stand is finished
