I'm quite sure that end of the development was an issue for Peel in terms of what they could realistically put there. We've solved the problem for them. They call BMD...anchoring the Northern end of the development.
I call it hiding the sewage works from all the posh apartments, shops and offices
Will that cycleway remain open on matchdays though? If anyone is interested, we'll be changing the cycleway outside the site from red to blue.

Well the whole road will be closed to vehicles around match times so in theory cyclists can cycle wherever they want. They won't specifically close the cycleway though, we've got loads of cycle racks installed at BM so we're actively promoting it as a method of sustainable travel to the game. Will that cycleway remain open on matchdays though?
Can't see it
Good luck weaving through the crowds then,Well the whole road will be closed to vehicles around match times so in theory cyclists can cycle wherever they want. Can understand the logic of getting people to cycle to game, just don’t think it’s logical after the game and a few pints later most will end up in the Mersey.Well the whole road will be closed to vehicles around match times so in theory cyclists can cycle wherever they want. Never heard of roads being closed. I take it it'll be just a stretch of the dock road?
Hope we’ve put plenty of life bouy rings along the dock too then!Well the whole road will be closed to vehicles around match times so in theory cyclists can cycle wherever they want. Appreciated mate. So Blackstone street is the BMD end of Boundary street....never knew that. I take it access to the Chinese supermarket won't be affected then apart from heavy traffic. There are soft and hard closures in place before, during and after the game.
2 hours before and after kick-off vehicle movements are heavily restricted. One hour before, during and after no vehicles permitted at all (except emergency vehicles).

Ultimately, it is an enclosed treatment facility in an existing industrial setting. If it wasn't common knowledge what it was, no-one would be any the wiser.
UU have to meet strict requirements with respect to odours. That's not to say there won't be times when a slight smell is apparent but if it was constant and prevelant there would be numerous complaints to the council, it would be in the press, and everyone would know about it. Aside from a few kopites saying it stinks, most of which couldn't find Liverpool on a map, where are the wide spread reports of any smell? There aren't any.
Claim central that additional kerb for the cycle lane, once crowds and darkness get involved. If anyone is interested, we'll be changing the cycleway outside the site from red to blue.
