I hope you are right. The team will do OK with what we have tbf but if we announce a Stadium on the Docks the fans will be given such a huge lift. If it turns out to be Croxteth however there could be a bit of bother........
Safe standing uses rail seating, which easily converts to seats for European matches. It's not a big deal at all.You'd only be able to enjoy your safe standing section in league matches. UEFA doesn't allow it. Dortmund has to convert their entire massive kop to seated for CL and EL games, and that means you have to spend the extra money to design your stadium for a conversion like that to be possible.
You couldn't beat doing the boot walk in the St.End in the 70's...I've been watching footy since the early 60s and I've always preferred sitting to watch a game. It's obviously a personal preference but standing in a crowd to watch a game has absolutely no appeal at all. Mind you, I've never been one for singing or shouting, just love watching the footy.
