Ok see where you are coming from. You would rather that they went the whole hog with a Lucas oil stadium type designFuturistic roof / 19th century warehouse base.
I blame no one at Everton or even that idiot Meis. I blame Historic England and the UNESCO luddites.
Some similar to the Lucas Oil would have been an absolute dream....best sport stadium in works in my extremely humble opinion.Ok see where you are coming from. You would rather that they went the whole hog with a Lucas oil stadium type design
Next to a Sewage Works ?It's the sheer scale of it in that location. Like one of the machines in the War of the Worlds rising up.
I still dont like the hybrid design, but hey...I always said it's all about location, location, location...
The fact it looks boss. No pleasing some people.Futuristic roof / 19th century warehouse base.

I like the Lucas oil stadium but if we had gone down that road people would say its just a cheaper version of that.ours is totaly unique in my opinion. Some similar to the Lucas Oil would have been an absolute dream....best sport stadium in works in my extremely humble opinion.
What a statement this would have been...the Sofi Stadium, LA, the Rams and Charger's home stadium.Ok see where you are coming from. You would rather that they went the whole hog with a Lucas oil stadium type design
It cost 7billion Dave. What a statement this would have been...the Sofi Stadium, LA, the Rams and Charger's home stadium.
Yuck, that looks chuffing awful. What a statement this would have been...the Sofi Stadium, LA, the Rams and Charger's home stadium.
I love the 'Birds Nest' in Beijing. Externally anyway, it's spectacular. But something like that wouldn't fit as well into its surroundings as BM does currently.I like the Lucas oil stadium but if we had gone down that road people would say its just a cheaper version of that.ours is totaly unique in my opinion.
I've been down to the stadium quite a number of times over the last 3 years (although not in the past few months).
I have to say, it took my breath away yesterday. It's awesome.
If anyone hasn't seen it up close yet, be prepared to be blown away.
