I don’t think Utd fans even consider the Europa a trophy. He’s has no record for signing and developing young players, shopping in the bargain basement end of the market or for working and motivating average players. He’d be worse than Dyche.

They very much do consider it a trophy trust me.

Also i take it you never spent much time looking into his time at roma did you?

Last two seasons spent €9m, sold €83m and spent €17m, sold €81m. Roma had the 3rd lowest net spend in the league for those two season's. He also signed 17 players under 25 out of 28 players he signed at roma.

It’s not that we’re too good. It’s just his particular skill set is not suited to a club in our position. I wouldn’t want Pep to be our manager either for the same reason. We need someone who can motivate and work with average players and who can spot and develop young talent. Mourinho is not that guy and never was. And even if we were in a position were an elite coach was justified Jose is no longer elite. He’s living on past glories.

what is his particular skill set? Hes a elite manager im sure he can get this lot too win 5 games out of 19.

Hes also just got roma to back to back European finals (never been done in Italian football) and won them their first trophy in 20 years?

Also first manager to win a European trophy with a Italian team since...he won the treble (first time any Italian side had won the treble). Also when he got sacked he was 5 pts of a CL spot and the roma fans absolutely loved him.

Strangely enough though there was a tax break in Italy for football clubs that was revoked just before Mourinho got sacked. Meaning he was going to cost TFG more money with his wages.

But yeah hes not elite and dyche would do a better job... either jose shagged your mrs or you're insane

Course it will. We have no foresight, no risk, no imagination.

We make dull, predictable moves and then wonder why we end up where we are and much lesser clubs progress. Well they're truth is, we'll only get out of this circle of crap if we start thinking differently - but we never will.
Statistically he is West Ham’s best ever manager and he is our best since Howard. That’s not to be sniffed at giving how much has been spent by managers since he left.

Old owners would new owners? We shall see but I doubt it

Get a move on with it.

Ridiculous hanging on to this incompetent manager and his baldy coaches.

Says it all when a tinpot club like west ham fire their manager with double the number of wins.

The friedkins have had months waiting for the approvals to make a decision on dyche. This isn’t a two week timeframe. They should have preempted his results wouldn’t get better and they’d need to make an immediate change.

The more I read about Danny Rohl, the more intrigued I am. Could be too much of a risk though.
The job he’s doing at Wednesday is simply fantastic. No idea if he’s ready to step up though. Rob Edwards, Russell Martin and Nathan Jones weren’t bad either down in the Championship.
