They are starting from a much lower base then we where. We where in Europe I think. There in the north east which isn’t great weather. They might catch up eventually but it’s going to cost them at least 500 mil

This is just another example of why part of me wanted the "super league" to go ahead. Football is rotton to the core and the only way things will ever get better is if the bottom falls out of the game. While things remain like this we can only expect things to get worse. More endless money and corruption. Another blood soaked regimes just buying a club and throwing around their blood money for a laugh. You know at some point we'll all be getting charged £100 for a match ticket and for £2000 for a season ticket to watch a league that has a "level playing field" that's about as level as the decks of the titanic after it hit the iceberg.
