Much better performance than the last 2 home games (they really annoyed the life out of me). Bobby got this spot on, set them up for a counter attacking game and it worked perfectly. Newcastle were just a lot of 'huff and puff', it was like a training exercise of defense against attack, soak up the pressure and break.

All players were fantastic, Osman shaded MOM for me. Some very good intelligent play; Stones, Barkley and McCarthy were superb; and Del, what a superstar he will be

we were never in danger of losing today mate. only a small part where we in danger of losing to swansea as well.

Like the last 15 minutes where my blood pressure probably shot through the roof! Far too close a call for comfort. Sitting deep and defending a lead is dangerous stuff imo, especially without Jags in charge.

The shot Newcastle put wide was as good as a goal. Our defence was torn to shreds by Ben Arfa and it was only the Newcastle players fault why it wasn't 1-2.
