Great performance tonight. Delefeuo's first touch on Osman's pass for the 2nd goal was top banana & him not being greedy by passin to Big Rom made the goal.

Great goal by Osman as well &, of course Barclay's stunner.

Keep the heid & we're in there.....(for 4th) COYB

I do not want to be a party pooper (and I am absolutely made up with the win), but does anyone else think we gave the ball away WAY too often and easily and that more potent attacking teams might have made us pay for such profligacy?

I think it was largely down to Ross, Rom and Distin really. Distins distribution was poor when we needed to play a simple ball and keep control, and the two younguns kept trying first time passes and flicks when they needed to take it into them and look up. This meant we quickly lost control of a game we were looking like we would boss for 90 mins.

Still prefer to have a team with plenty of exciting youth though...and we still won well!

Like the last 15 minutes where my blood pressure probably shot through the roof! :) Far too close a call for comfort. Sitting deep and defending a lead is dangerous stuff imo, especially without Jags in charge.

i was nervous they would get one and put us under the cosh, but there way no way they were going to come back and win 3-2. thought we controlled the second half brilliantly tbh, limited them to very little bar the anita miss.

We were brilliant today, most importantly that defensive solidity is back - players throwing themselves in front of everything which is something we've not seen for ages

And three brilliant goals.

Stream was shi t couldn't tell. Freeze frame said we did great.

Watching the 20 minute highlights on the website now, and with each time I watch that Barkley goal it just gets more and more ace.

Love being a blue.

Would love some European adventures next year too!
Do it Everton!
