The shot Newcastle put wide was as good as a goal. Our defence was torn to shreds by Ben Arfa and it was only the Newcastle players fault why it wasn't 1-2.
sure they had their moments, which you'd expect because they are at home and have good individual players but we could have had another 3 or 4 the way Del ripped them on the box. And it was out players fault we didn't add to our tally

Scouse Mackems?

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

I think its meant to be an insult.

Its all the more tremendous when you consider that Sunderland have won more leagues than them so it actually turns out as a compliment instead.

Never mind the fact that Sunderland a infinitely more likeable than that city of jarg Scottish bellwipes.

They hate us, but only because were miles better than they ever could be, always have and always will be.

Get in there blue boys ,writing this through 1 eye after a few sheberts to celebrate .What a win ,what a show . With other results going our way .The futures bright ,the futures blue.Could it be ON?

I think it would be curmudgeonly of us to not acknowledge that Newcastle created a couple of excellent scoring opportunities (which they squandered). But we also missed one or two (eg Lukaku- after being beautifully put through on goal by Osman)

Missed opportunities are just that. They are NOT "as a good as a goal".

even neutral observers (i.e. mainstream match reports) are reporting this as a "dominant" performance from us.

We're good again, after we thought we lost it. April 6th is HUGE.

Just watched the game off the DVR. My first thought is that the 0 offsides has to be due to the fact that Mirallas sat this one out. Looked pretty good against a (below?) average squad. Both had and missed decent chances, but onward we march. Glad Leon got in, wish lukaku scored his first chance. Stones is a beast. Howard continues to play well. And Seamus is just boss. Beat Fulham.

I was very pleased with the match and the performance but I've only just read chico's preview - been busy.

Literally LOL -ed at '...Shola Ameobi, their very own Anichebe except they haven't worked out a way of getting 6 million from WBA for him yet.'

I actually went back and read it again. Beautiful.
