Captain Coleman (injured)
vice digne (injured)

siggy and Holgate both have had the armband in there place anyone else?

But once everyone’s fit who should have the armband? Ok might be a next season thing as it might not go down well stripping a captain
Into the season

Allan if his English gets better would be my first choice, Digne or Holgate if the former doesn't bother with it.

Coleman should keep it as long as he's part of the usual first 11.

I voted Allan as the alternative captain or Coleman's successor and I'm pleased to see that he's a popular pick. He seems very take-charge on the pitch.

No one stands out to me. Think if Dom was a few years older he'd get my vote. This attitude, professionalism and the way he conducts him is what I'd want in an Everton captain.
Not a bad shout. He’s got a bit of Ray Winston “I’m the Daddy” going on at the moment with how he carries himself and just his general presence.

That being said, not a huge fan of striker as captain.

Gotta be DCL. Captain Courageous!

I suppose the argument against is can a striker be entirely in the thick of the action while sitting on the shoulders of the opposition waiting for a break?
But DCL is often seen defending corners like mad and at any rate I'm not sure that the captain's role is a technical one so much as inspirational.
