Keane is the boss at the back. Has to be him long term if ancelotti sees him as his centre back to build around. Richarlison doesn't need the weight of it and Allan seems quiet to me.

That sort of captain is a bit outdated. Like Roy Keane.

Has to speak English as needs to communicate with the ref. Anything else doesn't work so it can't be Allan. Keane, if his mental health can handle it.

A good leader at centre half can read the game better from their position, organise his defensive line and prompt the midfield. All things we desperately need.

Would love a player like Allan as captain but without good English i would worry that a big part of the job (communication with the ref) would be lost.
I had been thinking recently that Keane would be a very good captain, but i'm not sure he'd want it as I can't remember him ever being a captain. When he passed off the armband to Coady playing for England it made me a bit concerned about his confidence as a leader.
I would still give it to Keane in the hope tht i'm wrong and that it kicks him on to be a better more confident player.
