It’s a pain to watch our results now. We are no better than relegation candidate. I had tried to believe Koeman can turn around like what he did at Southampton but I am losing faith. I wish we get a manager who knows how to rebuild the confidence in the team now. Not some big names who only managed big rich clubs.

Not sure about Unsworth. Unproven and big consequences if it goes tits up. Too big a risk for me.

Moyes isn't the answer [to any question other than "Who's that mug who thought he got too good for Everton, only to come crashing down?"], either.

We need a experienced manager to deal with this complex situation due to Koeman mistakes, we should prevent the risky and uncertainty options in manager selection in order to prevent our relegation, it is disaster if happened. In our club's ranking and situation, no on job managers are willing to come, no big name managers are willing to come too even though they are free agent. We have limited choice actually, at least Moyes can be a caretaker until the end of this season, and Unsworth can be assistant manager, if Moyes work well, he can earn a contract of manager next season.

As crazy as this might sound I think that the former England manager Sam Allardyce is the only realistic option.

The likes of Tuchel and Ancelotti wouldn't touch us with a bargepole and Unsworth doesn't have the requisite managerial experience at this stage. Trying to save a club like Everton from oblivion i.e. relegation is a different kettle of fish to managing the kids under very little pressure.

Big Sam would almost certainly keep is up and staying up is our only priority right now.

We're still in one cup with another to follow so they are very much our priority. If we keep him and go out on Wednesday in lame fashion to Chelsea reserves then the board are culpable. They never learn.

I'm all for Unsworth and here's why.

He appears to be a leader - those U23's would run through brick walls for him, and then rebuild the wall wherever he told them to. Ok so he doesn't have PL experience - so what? He's hardly clueless at football is he? And can it get much worse than what we saw these past few weeks? Neither did a young David Moyes coming from lower leagues and for all his faults he did reasonably well getting to 4th and back up the right end of the table at least.

Unsworth getting the gig now would have a similar impact to Joe Royle in 1994. I'd go with him, even if it's on a temp basis or whatever while we found another. But if he got it full time I'd have that.

seriously, NOTHING has angered me more on this forum than people suggesting moyes as our new saviour, I cannot get my head around any single reason why anyone wold suggest it. WTF good could ever come of it? Do you (the people suggesting it) lack any desire to achieve success at all for this club?
Spot on.

Some fans have been brainwashed into mediocrity
