Out of curiosity...

Do people think Rafael Benitez would:

a) Cause such fume for the RS as to counteract any Evertonian fume?
b) The Evertonian fume would be overwhelming?

For me, our team struggle in relegation zone a few years before Moyes came (from 1995 to 2002) and we can usually challenge the European competition regularly after Moyes came. Club cannot provide money to him at that time, other managers may only struggle in relegation zone and Moyes can bring us win and European competition, that’s all. His performance of the past eleven years in our club is the brightest CV of him and he is a proven manager in our club.

Unsworth is another choice of me, he familiarizes both the first team players and the youth players, and he can bring us right formation and right player selection that RK cannot bring us.

He definitely wouldn't be my choice, but I'd take him over this cheese head or Moyes any day of the week.

Carlo Ancelotti all the way.

I voted Tuchel, but Ancelotti for sure, if he'd come.

Just looking at Ancelotti's previous clubs does anyone remember how he did at Parma and Reggiana? His last 5 clubs have been in contention for or expected to win the league. Firstly I don't think he would come and secondly I wonder if he could get us going. It's a very different challenge to managing a team of superstars

He’s turned messes around before, like last season for us in autumn and at Southampton previously. He can do it. Whether he will no one knows. But I’d have that proven skill over an U23 coach with no experience looking at the frustrating situation objectively.

The slight problem here is that both were messes of his own creation, rather than him coming in and improving matters

Chico said, "He’s turned messes around before, like last season for us in autumn and at Southampton previously".

To get himself into a mess once was a problem.
To get himself into a similar mess again is tantamount to it becoming a habit.
To go there again is nothing short of bizarre and inherently worrying.

He managed to get himself out of the first two, third time could be unlucky... for both him and the club.

I don't care if he bites the dust, I most certainly do care if he drags the club down with him !

It's a trend, which means it will likely happen every season. Koeman out FFS
