We won 2 in 12 last season and got into Europe.

We've won 3 in 11 this season and it is a "survival season" lol lol hyperbolic dross
We are only a couple of points off the top half.

I don't want him as full time manager going forward, but on a temporary basis just to get us to safety I'm fine with it

He can keep our heads above water, get paid, do one and then we can start fresh next season

He'd have no time to establish a culture at the club. He'd be in and out quickly and then we could get a new manager in the summer who could kick us on

I definitely don't think we need him. We have good fixtures here. We should really win 4 of our next 9. That takes us to around 25 points by new year. And thats not being crazily optimistic I don't think. Thursday nights are no longer an issue. Basically we should aim higher. Much higher than the corrupt fat mess

Unless Walsh 100% knows who that new manager is going to be, then what you say cannot work. That's ignoring fact Walsh has been dreadful so far too and really should have been sacked.

This is what has happened.

Everton have a thing in place where kids who get injured while at Everton and can't play are given a fast track to get into coaching. Unsworth as part of his ethos allows these kids to take 20 minutes or so of training a day. He does this to give them a chance and its a great boost for them.

Anyway he does this on Saturday morning and rather than listen to the kids Kevin and Morgan arse about. This leads to them being split up in training into two teams. Instead of taking part kevin and morgan decide to do the soccer am 'crossbar challenge'. When pulled up on this by duncan he tells them you either respect the club or fcukoff. At this morgan tells him to stick it as does mirallas who 'won't be told what to do by anyone'- he was like this with moyes martinez and Koeman. He also dumps his bib. they are then told to turn up anyway tomorrow for the game- neither does. Neither will play again for Everton.

This is all first hand. Make of it what you will but that is what happened.

Late to the party but if this is true, then wow. What a pair of bellends. They don't deserve to play in the first team with that attitude.

So we don't let him spend money in Jan then, as he won't be affecting long term policy

Oh wait no we desperately need a striker and centre half. They might not be want the coach wants though (as it is corrupt Sam).
