Silva I can see building us into something so for that reason I'd take him over the other people we've supposedly gone after

Dont share your optimism. To get Silva for example would take a week...minimum. We wont be having new manager in before Palace game thats pretty much nailed.I'm optimistic that we will have a new manager in place before Saturday's match in south London.
Farhad knows that time is of the essence and he doesn't strike me as someone who is apt to procrastinate.

Who, Caballero?IF we get Silva, I wouldnt be surprised to see Big Willy C come in. Hes a massive fan of the boy.
I’ve just spat my coffee all over my screen.
Didn’t we say the same thing about Martinez?
What’s our name?
The near miracle at hull was actually a miracle with estoril. A team with less than 5000 capacity stadium and historically a lower league in Portugal. He got them europa league qualification after taking over whilst they were a non enitity languishing in the second division. His record every where he has been is very good. At times outstanding see estoril and olympiakos. The 33.9% win rate at hull is also outstanding considering what he took over. With that rate they have comfortably stayed up had he had the whole season.
This is also a man who beat Barca and arsenal with this olympiakos team from a no mark league in Greece as some have said. At a time when Greek football was utterly on its arse financially. There is absolutely nothing Martinez about him other than he isn't from these shores.
Would be an outstanding appointment in my opinion.
Good word, though I don't know if it applies to 'Minge-bags'.I'm optimistic that we will have a new manager in place before Saturday's match in south London.

I knew all this but just reposting for those who may have missed it.
Outside the obviously proven yet completely unrealistic Simeone, Silva has always been my clear 1st choice, I’d love him here.
It would be a very exciting appointment and the way he plays there’s no ceiling to what we could achieve under him.
