I really hope that behind the headlines there is movement and aren't naive enough to take things on face value especially with leaks to the media so often a common present day tactical negotatiating weapon, but have to think the possibility that Watford really do mean enough and this rebuttal being a final one could easily be the case.

There's no way to know absolutely the truth and there can be a danger of believing what you want to be true too readily.

Certainly taken on the surface it is a very clear no and no way we'll be changing our minds for any money or any club mid season.

So we can only await the next installments in our search while still hoping its something different to what still seems a plain NO.
 

If the board really want Silva they should have made an offer Watford couldn't refuse at the start of the break. Threw £45m on Siggurdsson, but can't get Silva from Watford? Starting to feel a bit shambolic. This can't be good for Unsworth or the players and we're not in a position where we can p*ss around.

Reckon, Moshiri will see how the next few games goes, with Uns, before he decide.

Im not a fan of that, but what the heck, let's gamble.

This is true, fans are impatient but if we are going to have to pay more just do it and get on with rebuilding our season. Easy for me to say, I suppose that's one of the many reasons I'm not a billionaire.

Maybe the board think Unsworth.

He's only managed 4 matches but his record isn't bad.
