Koeman being lauded for bringing a 6th place finish to Soton - surely thats a definitive Moyesesque performance - three places above Hughes at Stoke too! I'd rather we appointed Dyche and I really, really, really, dont want him - At least he would be an experiment wheras the others are a commitment to mediocrity
Please appoint someone soon before I have a medical condition develop from waiting and worrying!
You were doing so well mate, I was nodding along until you mentioned Dyche, now I have to put you on ignore forever.

Personally i wouldn't go for Emery. De Boer yes because hes a bigger name = Attracts better players. Plus Emery's league form is terrible. 0 Wins away from home all season? Martinez MK2 that.

Yeah let's all ignore Sevilles home record where they won 14 out of 19 this season...

Also 7 of their 14 losses came in the last 9 games in La Liga, once they reached the QF of the Uefa they seem to have made it their 100% priority along with the Spanish cup that they'd reached the final of already - to the detriment of their league form

Prior to that they had only lost 7 in 29 league games and had won 13 out of 15 at home.

De Boer has two names and Emery has only one. That is the only way De Boer is a bigger name than Emery.

La Liga is arguably the best league in the world. This year they will have both CL and Europa cup winners.
De Boer may very well become a great manager. But, Ronnie Delia won five league title in Scotland and we are hardly going to appoint him.

I think people are missing the point that our status has changed, we are not hoping to appoint a manager that may prove to be brilliant, we hope to appoint a manager that has already proven he is.
I thought they la liga teams that play in Europe that la liga change there fixtures to help Spanish teams to challenge on both fronts

They do alter the dates a bit to make it a bit mroe easier for them mate, Emery has noticably this season rotated A LOT of his starters though to make sure he had his first 11 rested for the Europa games, in a league that has the automatic CL qualification places entirely sown up can't say it was a bad thing to do either really, the strategy has his team in the CL group stage now for the second year in a row, rather than slogging it out for 4th against 4-5 other teams and then facing the llottery of a qualifier game to even make it their

I think the money has changed us.
We are new money and it's ugly.
Not long ago we would be mega excited at the thought of a top international player like De Boer or Koeman taking the reins but now oh no, forget them.

We may have money but we haven't achieved jack so unless the pinnacle of managers are here for the dough we need to drop our expectation a little.

Champagne handed out at the start of each match. No excuses.

Want the best manager available. Won't be disappointed if it's de Boer or Koeman. Both solid managers. But this is a game of money these days, and that's how you get ahead.

Or you catch lightning in a bottle like Leicester did, but that's not nearly as likely.
