Indeed, I prefer Pellegrini and Favre....
Coolio, I prefer Simeone and Zidane.

Moyes is my third choice
Coolio, I prefer Simeone and Zidane.
Simeone....it is not realistic, like Mourinho
Neither is Moyes or Favre, but you keep mentioning them.

I think their possibility is much bigger than Simeone and Emery
Moyes sells papers...that is all. Surely most of us are smart enough to see that?
Some arent.
Moyes = more than Simeone and Emery?

I have a view of Everton that isn't based since the Premier League began.
The way I see it, you become a part of our club, you become part of the very fabric of football. Which as many Evertonians besides supporters, players, managers, will testify, becomes part of your blood. It's something that can't be measured in money or so called recent success. It's something deep rooted, something that eclipses the transient quicksand of new flavour or money.
We are the first, if you can't see that or fail to recognise it then you have no part to play at our club. Repeat a lie often enough some people will believe you. It's still a lie. Sky, the Echo, various pundits they'll repeat ad infinitum. I ignore them, I know my history. Nobody can match us.
What we need and I sincerely believe supporters are starting to demand, is that we live up to our motto. This isn't self-entitlement or delusion this something we, as Evertonians are ingrained, to expect. It's in our D.N.A. Should we expect Emery, Cocu, Mourinho, hell yes. They are the best and as supporters we should demand the custodians of the club deliver that. Whether it be players or managers.
And if you don't subscribe to that worldview however wildly optimistic it may be, somehow you don't get the club and what we stand for. I'll take that to my grave.

I get all this Everton way malark and it's great, but I'd give my left arm for a war criminal of a manager
