That's 15 managers in about 16 years.

Emery was 2008 to 2012 mate ;)

Looking at that list he was actually their longest serving manager in the last 15 years (including 15 managers), 4 years and left for another job - wasn't sacked, only Benetez came close to that tenure at 3 years, pretty impressive feat actually

Still not feeling it for Koeman, 8 clubs in 16 years, no trophy won since 2008 and after being manager of Ajax, Benfica, PSV and Valencia his last 3 clubs have been AZ, Feyenoord and Southampton. Is this a manager who peaked several seasons back, got found out, and is now on the downward slope?

In the two games we played against Southampton this season i wasnt impressed at all we battered them at their ground and they couldnt beat us in the return with the team in disarray i think the "success" he has achieved at St.Marys is as much down to the failing of other teams than any great performances from Koeman himself. He is a steady eddie not outstanding but solid

Longest serving manager in last 40 years!

Getting emery would definitely be a statement of intent, already seen non Everton fans talking about how exciting the league could be with the possibility of having emery plus Klopp/mourinho/pep etc. He's seen as the next big manager in Europe.

I've gone for Koeman, steady pair of hands etc etc. However, I'm not changing my avatar until I see Mourinho walk into the press conference at Old Trafford. The main reason I went for Koeman is because a Saints fan told me at the weekend that there wasn't a chance in 50 million years of us getting him.

its amazing how many of my friends think we wouldnt have a hope with emery, most have them havent got a clue about moshiris investment ...really gone under the radar(or more likely people arent interested in everton lol)

I hear, albeit slightly tenuously (through Moshiri - Isle of Man business connections) that Koeman is the preferential candidate & the name being actively pursued.

His current employment being somewhat of a stumbling block.

As a caveat I am the worst ITK candidate ever but where this has come from does carry some legitimacy.

I'd be very happy with him also.
Who are you?

Eyebrows will be raised soon enough mate..

Rom and Stones will go.. And then.. Boom.

It will all come good.

I see flaws in the lot of them to be honest which is why I cannot vote for any of them without a very strong assistant manager.
If I had to choose it would be Emery with Arteta.

Arteta would be a hell of a scoop.

I'd love to see what he could do with some of our kids.

Unsworth and Sheeds are must keeps, but Arteta would bring a lot of class to the training pitch for sure.

Unsworth and Sheedy have earned the right to keep doing exactly what they are doing, the one area of the club you cans ay without doubt has performed at the very top level required.

Would love to see the best little spaniard we know back
