Only De boer and pellegrini left by the looks of it,I wouldn't mind de boer at all tbh let hope the club hurrys up abit before we miss out on him too,we'll be running out of candidates pretty soon by the looks of it.
The flip side that I hang any hope on is that he had done the impossible by winning Europa again and if Sevilla aren't saying here is x million and we aren't selling your team, then the job will only get more difficult from this point on.Emery is looking increasingly unlikely according to the Echo but never fear because Moyes has been interviewed. I think it's nearly time to bite the bullet and sound out Rafael. He'd be far less risky than De Boer and we may only get one shot with Moshiri's investment as in 2 or 3 years Moshiri may be much less enthusiastic to invest if we end up with another Martinez. Look what happened to Villa and Newcastle both with richer owners. Would you rather increase the risk of that fate just to avoid Rafael? I'm not ruling out Koeman yet by the way as I believe he could be swayed by a massive wage.
Unai Emery has ruled himself out of the running for the Everton job, according to Sevilla president Jose Castro.
The Spaniard, who has been linked with a move to Goodison Park, has won three successive Europa League trophies – his latest coming against Liverpool in Basel last week.
But according to Castro, Emery has told him he is ‘not on the market’ this summer.
“The coach has understood our idiosyncrasies perfectly,” he told Sevilla TV.“He is crazy about football, the hours he puts it, how he manages the squad. I say that now after being successful, but also at the start of the season.
“I can tell you he has said he is not on the market, and is not thinking about anything else.”
The Blues will continue to search for their new manager, with Ronald Koeman, Frank de Boer and David Moyes amongst the candidates.
Koeman has publicly said he wants to stay at Southampton, while former Ajax boss de Boer is keen on the move.
Moyes has been interviewed for the position as Fahrad Moshiri seeks the man to lead his new era on Merseyside.
All they did was put up the video of the report that was written up in the local paper. There was nothing new nor definitive in what was said.
They're under huge pressure not to lose him so will do what they have to do to make it appear he is staying. If he leaves then they can point to what they've said and still appear the good guys.
The fact that papers are running with stories he's about to sign with Southampton suggests his agent is angling for a big wage offer from Moshiri. Not convinced that Koeman is attracted to the project but, if I'm right that his agent briefed the media, he may be persuaded by a hefty wage. If it does happen, and I'm desperate for it to do so, I expect him to say EFC showed more ambition. All they did was put up the video of the report that was written up in the local paper. Andy Gray backs David Moyes to become next Everton manager
“I don’t see why not. He’s young enough, he’s ambitious enough."

Andy Gray has backed David Moyes for a second spell as Everton boss, hailing his fellow Scot as ‘ambitious enough’ to succeed at Goodison Park.
And the former Blues striker has also revealed Moyes would ‘love’ the chance to take over at the Toffees once again.
The 53-year-old, who spent 11 years on Merseyside before leaving for Manchester United in 2013, has been interviewed for the job as the club continue its process of finding a successor for Roberto Martinez.
Frank de Boer and Ronald Koeman, amongst others, also remain under consideration, while Manuel Pellegrini is the current bookmakers’ favourite for the role.
Gray, now a television pundit in the Middle East, believes Pellegrini would be a good appointment - but regards Moyes as a safe pair of hands to begin Farhad Moshiri’s new era.
- Unai Emery rules himself out of becoming next Everton manager
- Ramiro Funes Mori could miss start of Everton 2016-17 campaign
- Everton next manager - The pros and cons of those in the frame
“David had a fantastic ten years at Everton – could he repeat that again?“ Gray told Talksport.
“I don’t see why not. He’s young enough, he’s ambitious enough.
“I know David would love to get another shot at it and with what he’s learned during his short spells at Man United and in Spain, he may be a better coach now.
“I wouldn’t be totally against that, but it would depend on what’s available.
“I think Pellegrini would fit Everton. He plays great football, he’s open, he’s ambitious and he likes to score goals.
“But David would be a very save pair of hands on the tiller, that’s an absolute certainty.”
Moyes has recently been linked with the Aston Villa job but has reportedly turned down the opportunity to lead the Midlands club’s charge back to the Premier League.
I have a feeling it'll be De Boer or Pellegrini. Neither my first or second choice (which was Jose then Koeman). Emery could be interesting. Checking this forum several times a day now!I'm not saying I want all or any of those names. Certainly a few would be unknown quantities if we hired them.
Personally I think the squad we have is fine as a starting point for any manager to come into. Get them doing the basics again and we would be 15 points better off alone, so adding a few players who are hopefully better than what we have and there is massive room for improvement.
So if our list all turned us down for whatever reason then there is still a lot to work with for a second list of choices I think. I doubt we would he turned down by any of our choices though, Boer Pellegrini and koeman will accept any offer we make I think, and emery swayed as well.
Process of elimination starting to work in his favour?Hahahaha
No.Process of elimination starting to work in his favour?

we're not doing very well so far, getting down to the dregs in terms of choices
only person left who i have a little enthusiasm for is De Boer but even then I'm not overly keen on the idea.
pelligrini and moyes seem like the only other two viable candidates and i'll be gutted if we get either of them
all getting a bit meh
