Ask yourself how disappointed you would have been with any of the main candidates (not counting Moysey obviously) being touted back in January? We all would have been swooning! Any of them will be a vast improvement and a real coup for a mid-table underperforming club with an ageing squad and with our two best players jumping ship?

SIMONE WILL BE THE NEXT EVERTON MANAGER

*sorry typo, meant SOMEONE

It's on!!

So I gather Simone is a better manger then Emery?

I'm not an expert on Spanish football so is AM the equivalent to spurs while Sevilla is the equivalent to ????
Simeone basically transformed Atletico from a good club into what they are now. When he took over they finished 7th-4th, hadn't won the league since the 90s, hadn't won the domestic cup since the 90s, and had never really got anywhere in the cl.

Since he's been there they've won the league, Europa league (which tbf they did before he was there too), the domestic cup, haven't finished outside the top 3 for 4 years and got into their first ever cl final - now 2 in 3 years.

Sevilla are similar to what Atletico were before simeone, the main difference being emery has them winning the Europa league 3 times in a row, which is also pretty impressive.

Let's hope emery doesn't have his reps reading GOT...

'Yes Unai, you were the one they could only dream of a week ago, but since we've entered talks with them their fans are already saying you are already their second choice behind another new name'

'Screw it then, where's that contract extension?'

You already see teams signing players ( Arsenal ) bidding for players (WHU) and others lining up bids ( Man City , Spurs & the shoite ) .

Given that we need to replace at least 6 seniors pros and face the further prospect of replacing Lukaku and Stones I would suggest that we need to start recruiting ASAP.

I'd rather the new manager choose the targets
