Apologies if it's already posted but Pellegrini has an interview in the Guardian:

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ellegrini-manchester-city-exclusive-interview

"What, then, is next for Pellegrini? Everton are thought to be interested in him, and he says: “If I don’t have a really interesting option I will stop until I find one. If I have to stop [completely], I will stop. It can be now, [until] December, one year or for ever. Of course, I would miss it. The challenge keeps me alive.”
He has an unquestionable pedigree but I'm not convinced by this interview. Sounds like he's happy to retire if he doesn't get the Everton job as opposed to being really motivated to take on a new challenge. Interview's are just words of course, what matters are actions.

On this occasion I think the poster does know mate ;)

Mate, he doesn't

Pellegrini is genuinely a decent, affable sort that has motivated squads at much smaller clubs than City are currently to performances and results well beyond their standard.

He's absolutely nothing like the reticent interviewee that you see after City matches.

It's a real shame that Everton won't be considering him, but the other poster is completely wrong.

Hope it's Emery personally.

Think Koeman's a great manager but Emery's just a more excitable character and the crowd would respond more to his stylings.

Wouldn't complain with either mind.
