He's by far the best 'realistic' option, IMO. And it's only been two weeks... there's plenty of time

It does seem we have a clear set of recruitment criteria, rather than who's flavour of the month or available. I read somewhere Moshiri wasn't sure Pellegrini was able to bring the required discipline to the squad. I'd say a few of the players need reminding that individual performances have an effect on team results. A player can't just turn round and blame everyone else. It does seem from the names mentioned that we're after someone who will demand the very highest efforts and standards.

I'd personally be happy with Koeman even though Emery is the one I want but people are happy to disregard others managers on previous failures but never seen concerned that Koeman has a very patchy managerial career

Whilst I'm not overly anxious about the waiting It's still frustrating like. Koeman isn't good enough for Everton realistic or not, I thought we were entering a new era to bring us back where we belong, if this is the case we need to make a statement of intent.

Yes. I have doubt on Koeman. He really did not set the PL alight. I know he's alright but his record in PL is similar to Moyes so will he take us to another level? The media even said we are going to double his wages. Worth it?...ain't sure. Please go for Emery.

I'd be delighted with either Koeman or Emery - I think a lot of fans on here need to get it into their heads that they're about as good as we are going to get and both are huge improvements on Martinez.

i personally reckon the koeman re-emergence is just to force other parties hands, be it from koemans camp to force southamtpon, or our camp to force another candidate, but i guess we'll know more end of this week like.
