I'm just getting the cake ready for the 'Page 2000' celebration before we appoint. Apparently the guy by the candles was in the running, but he heard 'manage Everton and get them to win the Prem' and said 'come on, miracles I can do but......'

I'm just getting that feeling......if we wanted Emery as manager and (here's the crucial bit) he seriously wanted the job, would it be dragging on this long? Now we face the prospect of Milan turning his head. Typical bloody Everton, next Pellegrini will say no as we've left him hanging too long so we'll end up with bloody you know who.......

@Moomin @Phenom A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES

Talking to an absolute nut job who supports Everton, who works for Qantas here in Oz, says he has the normal sources in the game (asked him if it was sweet chili or BBQ) and he reckons Friday morning your time is the day for the big announcement, which will include a DOF whom he is not sure, but reckons its Marc Overmars, and Emery will be named as manager, who will bring his coaching staff with him as part of the deal.

6 million per year, 150 million plus player sales to rebuild the team

Then asked where I get my Everton news from I replied GOT, he said FFS and walked way......

Still got 745 messages to read apologies if this is already known

Milan are a huge club with more recent success.

Everton represent the prospect of managing in England with loads of investment.

Positives and negatives for both choices to be honest, but you really couldn't blame him for picking Milan over us.

Balance of probability though, if all his posts are marked with the same IP while he claims to be out and about on planes trains and automobiles - he's most likely full of it.

You wouldn't get the same static ip addy every time though plus you would have to pay for the software etc it's a whole lot of trouble to go to to post on an Everton forum and even if he was why not just state that? He's lying and been outed it's that simple.

If he lies about stupid stuff like that why would anything he said hold any credability?

Like I said earlier I am not trying to defend any individual or add any credibility to any info that anyone chooses to pass off on GOT.

I'm simply trying to convey a bit of my knowledge and experience regarding what you can do with IP to ensure no one is hung out to dry based purely on a piece of evidence that could be fundamentally flawed.

Manipulating IP to show a fixed Broadband signature and location in UK is very doable, is not necessarily expensive and is quite widespread and common practice.

Most higher level academic institutions offer this as a service to allow certain academics and students the ability to research subjects that they may not want associated with their own personal equipment/ profile/Internet signature etc. Not just porn !

A study programme that I am currently on allows me to do exactly that regardless of which of my devices I am using and where in the world I am.

The same technology is in widespread use across much more than academia.

He will be looking for a Greggs.

When he was manager at Crawley Town, there was a considerable bust up between him and the then Gillingham manager, Andy Hesenthaler. A bit later, Evans was at Rotherham and came to Gillingham for an away game and the Gills' fans were giving him fearful stick. Just before kick-off the Gills' tannoy announcer broadcast "there's a large pizza delivery for a Mr Evans at the main entrance", the whole ground cracked up.

Oh why are they even bothering. They do some alright stuff and get ok info at times but there's no need to up the panic like that.

Bloody hell.

That is literally all they're causing tweeting that. Emery to AC Milan stories have been floating around for weeks as well, so im genuinely baffled as to what they think tweeting that will achieve.
