I know koemans dutch. What does that have to do with all the other foreign managers we could attract for the absurd sums banded around?

FDB and Cocu are winners....proven from the ground up....i would rather go for them than an average bloke whose mostly failed in his career.

But Koeman's won just as much as them?

Yeh, he's been a real failure...
Ajax
Benfica
PSV
Valencia
AZ Alkmaar
I always appreciate your points Zat, even if I don't agree with them, because it's clear that you have an opinion on how you like footy to be played and wanting the best for Everton.

But you're chatting utter wham at the moment - and this insistence that FDB or Cocu are 'proven from the ground up' - yet RK isn't - is either a blatant attempt at a wind up or, if it's seriously your thought process, a bit worrying?

Erm....in the Dutch league. Doesn't prove much.

Discounting the dutch league koeman has been a disaster at both valencia and Benfica....been stable at southampton.

Id rather have Cocu whose won the dutch league 2ce in a row with an inferior team and been forced to play kids and took PSV to a whisker of beating Atletico.

There is actually nothing to discuss. Please stop taking stuff that some fella says on an Internet forum to be gospel. The club has done an incredible job of keeping this quiet, whoever they end up appointing. Til then, please none of this 'Emery turned us down, we've got Koeman (but he's [Poor language removed])' talk. You've all gone mad.

Is he actually coming to Everton? Cant be bothered wading through all this rubbish. Yay or Nay?

Last night our resident ITK's on this matter believed it was done.

Nothing has changed in that they haven't posted anything new.

Some people are questioning it because the Southampton rag are claiming it's not done - but bare in mind they haven't been up to speed at all on this matter.

Is this actually a done deal? The rumblings down south would suggest it's anything but a dead cert.

Will be fuming if we manage to lose out on Emery AND Koeman.

I never said Koeman was poo. I simply stated what our ITKs had shared on here - that Emery said No. That's as official as you will get, you won't get any comment from either Emery or the club on that matter. I'm happy with Koeman and will be right behind him next season.

They've known absolutely nothing all along mate.

In fact, they were complaining on saintsweb last night that their own ITKs had been dead quiet and the local press knew nothing.

We'll wait and see at this point...
