Want to be clear: I do not think that Barca currently wants Koeman. If I were Barca I wouldn't want him right now. What I mean is that if Koeman is leaving by choice before his contract is up (once he signs for us), he is likely doing it for a massive job (i.e. Barca or other massive job) and he is likely getting that offer because he's done something special here (i.e. winning Europa, PL title, or consistent CL performance).

Koeman will deffo see us as a stepping stone, the thing is though, if one of Europe's elite come in for him after a few years here, and as you say, it will mean Koeman has done a boss job with us.

Forster, is a absolute rock (signed a five year contract about a month ago). Fonte and Van Dijk is superb. Bertrand is a top 5 left-back in the league in my bias opinion. Wanyama is a monster when he can be arsed. Mane is our best attacking player by a mile. Tadic got more goals+assists combined last year than Payet despite coming off the bench for 1/3rd of the matches.
Not biting on Wanyama - well let you keep him !

Let's argue, full strength teams, no injuries. Excuse the [Poor language removed] formatting, but in my mind Lukaku beats Austin, Barkley beats Steven Davis? MAybe James Mccarthy? Stones over Fonte is close, but Fonte's our leader so in my mind gets in for leadership qualities.

Any others?

Cedric (RB) ---- Van Dijk ---- Fonte ------Bertrand

-------------Romeu------Davis------------
Tadic------------Mane-------------Jrod

Our Full backs are still light years ahead of yours. Just watch them under a proper manager.

And also.... you do know you've named a starting XII? lol

Forster (Sotton)

Coleman (Everton)
Stones (Everton) - just edges it over Van Dijk for me
Fonte (Sotton)
Baines (Everton) - very close. On this season's form Bertrand, I suppose, but for me Baines is still just the better player.

Wanyama (Sotton)
Barry/McCarthy (Everton)

Tadic (Sotton)
Barkley (Everton)
Mane (Sotton)

Lukaku (Everton)

I'd say, on paper, that's about right. McCarthy interchangeable for Barry. Deulofeu and Mirallas a toss-up with Tadic - would say they are about the same but when on form Tadic is capable of some really neat interplay.

haha I'm not touching that..unless a fellow Blue wants to try?

Our football in the first part of the season had us thinking top 4 mate. We played amazing...to give it away with the obligatory defensive/Howard error.
Deulofeu on the right was as good as any winger in the League until Martinez ruined his season...and Lukaku's probably as a subsequence.

Agree with Coleman, I think Stones/ Van Dijk is close, if your going on potential Stones, last seasons form Van Dijk. I'd go for Berty, but I am bias. Would agree with the rest.
