You are a bigger club, and can you can offer him things that Saints can't, but that doesn't change the fact you have to overhaul your squad, which is not a easy thing to do, even with a lot of money, look at Liverpool, United and Newcastle.

In pure footballing terms, I'd argue that the Saints squad is stronger than Everton's at the moment. After your summer of investment this might change, but Koeman is taking a risk saying that I am the man for the big overhaul, it's high risk high reward, and you can understand why some people would see it as a risk not worth taking for Koeman.

At least RK will know Forsters get out clause.

First signing I'd guess would be a goalkeeper. Be it Forster or any other keeper for that matter. Don't necessarily go along with the thinking, that he will just raid Southampton for his signings. For what it's worth I don't think the saints chairman will be too pleased, should we now poaching their players having already taken their manager against their wishes.

He's not actually does lots of charity work and has lots of time for his fans. If you actually read up about him you will find numerous stories showing what a good guy he is. Its your personal opinion like. For all i know he might of nick your bird or something.

Anyway i wasn't really thrilled with RK but am starting to warm to the idea. Like everyone is saying its a big job for a manager. Considering how many players have left and we have a fairly thin squad anyway.

No it doesn't. Gentlemanly agreement maybe but look at it from the players point of view.
It's restriction of trade and can't be forced upon.

The fact we have persisted to get RK suggests to me we will do our utmost to get him his signings , which if one is Forster, then we will try to get him and thus if there is a clause we're going to bid it.

Not to arsed about the massive salary tbh, we've been skint for so long if mosh wants to chuck some money about let him get in with it.
